Welcome to my website!

A little about me …

This is my fourth year as an Assistant Principal for Metro-Nashville Public Schools.  I am excited to have been able to return to Tusculum Elementary this year in an administrative role.

Prior to being an Administrator, I served MNPS as a classroom teacher, Numeracy Coach, ESEA Program Facilitator, and District Data Coach.

Education is a career change for me.  Once I finished college, I moved to Dallas, TX to work with JCPenney as a Project Manager on jcpenney.com.  Aside from missing the hills of TN, I decided that the corporate world was not for me.  I moved back to TN in 2003 and have been home since.

As a learner, I have completed studies at three higher institutions (thus far):

  • Middle TN State University;  BS – Sociology (Criminology and Psychology minors)
  • Peabody Vanderbilt;  MEd – Elementary Education
  • University TN Knoxville;  MS – Educational Administration
